The ARCHE coordination team is pleased to announce and invite you to the project’s final event, “Bridging Towards Resilient Cultural Heritage”, organised by the Fondation des Sciences du Patrimoine (Foundation for Heritage Science) together with the Flanders Heritage Agency and KEA European Affairs.
The event will take place on 11-12 September at Tour & Taxis, Brussels and marks three years of efforts from the Horizon Europe-funded ARCHE project (Alliance for Research on Cultural Heritage in Europe) towards improved structuring and coordination of cultural heritage research across Europe.
The event will span two half-days and will feature high-level interventions from representatives of the European Commission and the Foundation for Heritage Science as ARCHE Coordinator, celebrations on the ARCHE achievements (such as the new Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda) and debates on the present and future of cultural heritage research and the challenges encountered when transferring scientific results to the policy and decision-making level. In addition, the second half-day of the event will feature four thematic breakout rooms, where participants will be able to play serious games or engaging in co-design exercises focusing on topics such as capacity building, Living Labs or Knowledge Hubs.
