E-RIHS is pleased to announce that the GRAPHIA project will host its first public webinar titled “Introduction to Knowledge Graphs” on 13 June 2025 at 11:00 CEST.

GRAPHIA is a Horizon Europe-funded project dedicated to enhancing scholarly communication through the implementation of graph-based technologies, with a focus on advancing open science practices within the SSH domains.

CNR-ISPC leader of the Italian National Node of E-RIHS, is in charge of Work Package n.3, dedicated to the research and development of next-gen instruments and tools for the Social Sciences and Humanities domain. The session will be led by Julien Homo, who will provide a clear and accessible overview of knowledge graphs—what they are, how they work, and why they are central to GRAPHIA’s mission of strengthening the scholarly communication infrastructure in the social sciences and humanities (SSH).

This event represents a key step in GRAPHIA’s broader effort to promote open, interoperable, and reusable research outputs. Highlighting the role and potential of knowledge graphs, the webinar will help lay the foundations for a more connected and resilient research ecosystem.

Open to all interested in GRAPHIA’s vision, this webinar will examine how graph-based technologies can support research discovery, data integration, and knowledge representation across the European SSH landscape.
