ACCESS POLICY

This Section defines the conditions of access to E-RIHS.it services.

For the terminology used in this paragraph, please refer to the Glossary.

Users who intend to make use of the services offered by the E-RIHS.it Research Infrastructure is required to comply with the conditions indicated below strictly.

  1. The services of E-RIHS.it must be used only for activities related to the Heritage Science sector and must comply with good practices in the Management ofHeritage Science and must comply with good practices in the Management of Cultural Heritage.
  2. The services provided by E-RIHS.it, as well as any scientific contribution provided by the providermust necessarily be recognized as supporting the User's scientific activity.
  3. Users may not use the resources or services for illicit and/or fraudulent purposes. They may not in any way avoid any administrative and/or security checks that may be necessary.
  4. Users must respect intellectual property rights, any confidentiality agreements, and the principles ofOpen Access.
  5. The submission of the request for access to E-RIHS.it by the User does not guarantee that the same will be provided until the expected evaluation and feasibility evaluation and feasibility. There is no guarantee that the services are available at any time nor that they can be used for any purpose other than the subject of the specific request. Before proceeding with the provision of the requested service, the providers can ask the User for an insurance policy relating to the objects and/or artefacts involved in the project initiative. The insurance policy, the expenses related to the handling of the work/object and the insurance coverage of any other person involved by the User during the execution of the project are the responsibility of the User.
  6. The User agrees that the information provided, including the personal data provided in the proposal form, may be used for administrative, operational, accounting, monitoring and security purposes. The User agrees that this registered information may be disclosed to other authorized participants through secure mechanisms, only for the same purposes and only to the extent necessary to provide the services (for further details seethe Privacy Policy).
  7. E-RIHS.it and its providerin the exercise of their competencies, have the right to regulate, suspend or terminate access without notice and without Users having any right by way of compensation or for compensation. Users must immediately follow the instructions at any time provided by E-RIHS.it and its provider.
  8. Users are responsible for the consequences deriving from the violation of what is indicated in these terms of use. All violations of the law and/or unlawful conduct or in any case such as to cause situations of danger for people and things will be promptly reported to the competent authorities.
  9. The applicable law is Italian law, and the competent court for any dispute relating to the interpretation and application of these conditions, if it is not possible to reach an amicable and amicable solution, is the Court of Rome.
