The aim of this edition, held in Lisbon on May 7-12, was to provide a scientific forum to present and promote the use of analytical techniques in the field of art and cultural heritage worldwide to stimulate contacts and exchange experiences, making a bridge between science and art.<\/p>\n<p>The conference saw the participation of scientists from all over the world. As far as European participation is concerned, at least <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/technart2023.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Book-of-abstracts-technart23.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\">15 contributions<\/a><\/span> were the outcome of access to the MOLAB and FIXLAB platforms both of the IPERION HS project and of the national nodes of the E-RIHS infrastructure. The contributions mainly concerned analyses of paintings, plastics, street art mural paintings, mosaics, graphic documents, metals, and glass, analyzed both with non-invasive (MOLAB) and invasive techniques, with sampling (FIXLAB).<\/p>\n<p>Among the organizers of the 2023 edition, there is also the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hercules.uevora.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Cultural Heritage Laboratory, Studies and Safeguarding (HERCULES)<\/span><\/a> of Portugal, a partner of IPERION HS and a member of the E-RIHS infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 edition will be organized in Italy by <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispc.cnr.it\/it_it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\">CNR ISPC<\/a><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scitec.cnr.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\">CNR SCITEC<\/a><\/span> along with E-RIHS.it.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2023 edition of TECHNART, the international conference established in Lisbon in 2007, has just concluded.
