It is part of the Franco-Italian bilateral cooperation on heritage science which is based on the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>recognized excellence of the two countries on several long-term joint research initiatives<\/strong>.<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Italy<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>will host the statutory headquarters of the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>European Infrastructure for Heritage Science<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.e-rihs.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E-RIHS<\/a>) which is in the process of forming a consortium, for a European research infrastructure ERIC, by 2023.<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>France<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>leads the<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change<\/strong><span>\u00a0<\/span>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritageresearch-hub.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">JPI CH<\/a>) and the project that will lead to the creation of an<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Alliance for Research on Cultural Heritage in Europe (ARCHE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column\">\n<p>The workshop aims to bring together even more<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>Italian and French researchers working in the field of heritage sciences on the urgent topic of climate change<\/strong>, the impact it has on cultural heritage and how<span>\u00a0<\/span><strong>cultural heritage can be a driver of resilience<\/strong>, a capital of knowledge and a source of creativity and innovation for the ecological transition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column\">\n<p>The bilateral meeting will be the first in a series and will start the discussion from the<span>\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"JsGRdQ\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heritageresearch-hub.eu\/app\/uploads\/2022\/03\/White-Paper-March-2022-OK-revision-nm-18_05.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White Paper. Cultural Heritage and Climate Change: New challenges and perspectives for research<\/a>\u00a0present a certain number of priorities and research perspectives and propose a list of instruments to be put in place to support the development of this scientific field and the activities of organizations engaged in climate action.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column\">\n<p><em>The online
