Becoming a European researcher in Heritage Science<\/h5>\n

Mobility can be the most enriching and important aspect of your research career, allowing you to build a network and, potentially, change your life. The\u00a0<\/span>Marie\u00a0Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Individual Fellowships<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>could support you throughout this step of your research career. This European funding programme will allow you to make a strong contribution to the advancement of your research field, and help you develop new skills useful for your future research career. This programme is\u00a0one of the European Union\u2019s flagship initiatives, providing research grants to support researchers at all stages of their careers and across all disciplines.<\/p>\n

If you are planning to apply to this programme within the field of\u00a0Cultural Heritage, the\u00a0<\/span>Institute of Heritage Science\u00a0(CNR ISPC)<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>could be\u00a0the ideal host institution\u00a0for this stage of your career development. The mission of this interdisciplinary institute is to pursue scientific excellence and encourage innovation in the knowledge, conservation and use of cultural heritage through collaborative research involving humanities, experimental sciences and technological applications.<\/p>\n

With over 180 researchers, technologists and technicians from various disciplines, along with a strong propensity for interdisciplinarity,\u00a0ISPC is CNR\u2019s hub for research, innovation, training and technological transfer of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage strategic area<\/b>. It is open to collaboration in national and international networks of expertise and is\u00a0engaged in creating a new pan-European research network thanks to\u00a0IPERION HS<\/a>,\u00a0a unique European research infrastructure for Heritage Science<\/span><\/span>.
In addition, for the past few years, CNR ISPC researchers have also successfully acted as supervisors for many of the Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Individual Fellowships projects.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This set of unique experiences, contacts and skills makes\u00a0CNR ISPC the ideal habitat for innovative and interdisciplinary projects. Moreover, the CNR ISPC can claim a large community of researchers who have been awarded funding by European research programmes such as MSCA, ERC, FET.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In addition, the CNR ISPC boasts a support staff dedicated to Marie Curie candidates.\u00a0The grant office, which is formed of administrative staff and researchers,\u00a0will support researchers throughout the whole planning phase<\/strong>, helping them perfect their proposals and increasing their chances of seeing it funded.<\/p>\n
