Questi dati rappresentano un incredibile contenitore di informazioni dirette e uno strumento utile all\u2019individuazione di \u201ctracce\u201d che rivelano la presenza di elementi archeologici o paleo-ambientali non visibili o difficilmente rintracciabili con la sola indagine sul terreno; inoltre, i dati storici possono consentire l\u2019identificazione di elementi della superficie terrestre, di natura archeologica, oggi non pi\u00f9 visibili, perduti o scarsamente conservati a causa delle rapide trasformazioni territoriali che hanno stravolto l\u2019aspetto originario del paesaggio storico.<\/p>\n<p>I dati telerilevati d\u2019archivio che potranno essere recuperati, elaborati e interpretati per finalit\u00e0 archeologica sono: fotografie aeree storiche (1930-1990); fotografie cosmiche degli anni Sessanta e Settanta del Novecento (immagini Corona KH-4A e KH-4B, Gambit KH-7 ed Hexagon KH-9); immagini satellitari ottiche ad alta risoluzione delle pi\u00f9 recenti piattaforme in orbita, che offrono dati multispettrali e pancromatici con un dettaglio massimo di 30 cm.
