La misura ultrasonica \u00e8 stata anche applicata per la verifica di trattamenti consolidanti su pietre. Il principio su cui si basa la misura \u00e8 legato al fatto che la velocit\u00e0 dell\u2019impulso ultrasonico dipende dalle propriet\u00e0 del mezzo che attraversa in particolare dalla densit\u00e0 e dalle caratteristiche elastiche. L\u2019impulso \u00e8 inviato da una sonda trasmittente e acquisito dalla sonda ricevente. La sonda \u00e8 accoppiata alla superficie da analizzare con un materiale tipo vasellina, gel per ultrasuoni, plastilina in modo tale da ridurre al minimo la presenza di aria all\u2019interfaccia tra sonda\/superficie. La misura ultrasonica come detto pu\u00f2 operare con diverse configurazioni dello strumento sia per ragioni di carattere investigativo sia per morfologia delle superficie (si veda figura 1). Ad esempio, il metodo indiretto realizzato con distanze di percorso crescenti pu\u00f2 essere utile per individuare eventuali cambiamenti nelle propriet\u00e0 del cemento (da sano a alterato o viceversa) questo cambiamento si individua nel punto in cui varia la pendenza della curva del valore ultrasonico in funzione delle distanza. Esistono diverse tipologie di sonde ultrasoniche che operano con differenti frequenze e che permettono di investigare lunghezze di percorsi differenti<\/p>\n<p><sup><\/sup><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p><strong>DETTAGLI TECNICI<\/strong><o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p>Lo strumento in dotazione \u00e8 un Matest C369N equipaggiato con sonde da 55kHz. Le sue applicazionis sono: valutazione dello stato di conservazione e presenza di strati con diverso stato di conservazione;\u00a0 individuazione di difetti interni di strutture in cemento\/calcestruzzo;
