Generalmente \u00e8 utilizzata per identificare i pigmenti costituiti da ossidi metallici, spesso trasparenti nel range del medio e vicino infrarosso. Il limite principale della tecnica Raman \u00e8 legato all\u2019intesa fluorescenza, generata da fenomeni di assorbimento ad opera dell\u2019eccitazione laser, e che pu\u00f2 interferire con lo scattering, coprendo tutte le firme vibrazionali. Per ovviare a questo inconveniente, \u00e8 utile avere a disposizione diverse linee laser d\u2019eccitazione favorendo l\u2019uso delle linee di lunghezza d\u2019onda pi\u00f9 lunghe (ad esempio 785 o 1064 nm) per matrici caratterizzate da componenti organici (dipinti verniciati\/non verniciati, pitture a olio, manoscritti, ecc.) e sfruttando quelle a energia pi\u00f9 elevata per i substrati a base inorganica (ceramiche, bronzi, ecc.).<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019uso di una sorgente laser a 532 nm, infatti, \u00e8 particolarmente indicata per lo studio di prodotti di corrosione, minerali, gemme, vetri e ceramiche, essa fornisce informazioni sia sulle fasi inorganiche cristalline che amorfe rispondendo a problematiche legate alla composizione, tecniche e alterazioni. \u00c8 adatto anche per l&#8217;identificazione dei pi\u00f9 comuni prodotti di corrosione del bronzo.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019utilizzo del laser a 785 nm \u00e8 invece pi\u00f9 indicato per matrici eterogenee organiche-inorganiche.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DETTAGLI TECNICI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Il Raman portatile della BWTEC i-Raman Plus \u00e8 equipaggiato con due sorgenti laser che emettono a 532 e 785 nm e due CCD detectors specifici per le due eccitazioni. Entrambe le linee laser possono essere inviate in fibra (due specifici probe per ogni laser d\u2019eccitazione di lunghezza 1.5 m) per misure Raman con uno spot di analisi di circa 90-100 mm. I laser possono essere accoppiati anche ad un probe micro equipaggiato con diversi obiettivi per misure in situ di piccoli oggetti, in questa modalit\u00e0 \u00e8 disponibile anche una telecamera per visualizzare il campione. \u00c8 dotato di 4 diversi obiettivi per ottenere diverse risoluzioni laterali (4x, 20x, 40x e 80x con le quali si ottengono aree di indagine di 300-400, 90-100, 40-50 e 15-20mm. Il range spettrale acquisibile \u00e8 da 65-4200 cm<sup>-1<\/sup>.
